Cooking salmon on a pit boss pellet grill

This Smoked Salmon Recipe is one of my favorites! I have made this a couple of times now on my smoker and it’s one that will be made again.  Now thankfully I live in the PNW so getting salmon fresh here isn’t too hard to do.  (I have included affiliate links to products I love. Now this recipe would work on other types of fish as well, but this is amazing on Salmon.  If you aren’t able to get Salmon near you I loved finding that you can get Seafood from Omaha Steaks!! I love getting my meat this way, no dealing with getting to the store and you know exactly what is coming!

How To Make Smoked Salmon:

Finish off the seasoning part by spreading with fresh dill.  Fun fact if you are unsure which is dill in the store give it a whiff and it will smell like pickles (Yes I got a phone call asking what dill looked like from the old lady at the store)

Sprinkle the whole filet with shredded Parmesan Cheese.

Drizzle lightly with lemon juice and then place lemon slices on the filet if you want.

Startup your smoker.  I did this on my Pit Boss Pro 1100 from Lowes, if you don’t have Lowes Walmart and Amazon carry other Pit Boss options or Pit Boss website themselves. This will also work in any electric or pellet smoker as well.

I used Pit Boss Grills Mesquite pellets but you can use any flavor of pellets to smoke your salmon.

Smoke on low or just your smoke setting for 1 hour.

Turn your smoker up to about 300 degrees for about 30 minutes to finish smoking and cooking the salmon.
