This is for my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe Base 4cyl 2.4L

My cam position sensor connector broke apart - I cannot find one anywhere online or from Hyundai parts or my local junk yards. Do you have any idea where I can get a replacement pigtail for this? I found parts online for the 6cyl 2.7L Santa Fe - but not my 4cyl 2.4L

Where is my camshaft position sensor located?

The Camshaft Position sensor is typically located in the cylinder head of the engine and has a cylindrical portion that inserts into the head. The Crankshaft Position sensor is normally located in the timing cover or on the side of the block with a cylindrical portion that inserts into the block.

What are the symptoms of a faulty camshaft sensor?

A glowing check engine light, stalling, poor acceleration and bad fuel mileage are all possible signs your camshaft position sensor may be failing. Gone are the days of carburetors and distributors, replaced by a variety of sensors that help a car's computer get the maximum performance out of the engine.
