The facility was beautiful, very crowded. The food was crap! The only good food I had was when I went off site. I was looking forward to resting and relaxing instead I was concerned how I was going to feed a growing 17 year old. Everything I bought at the facility was so expensive, the 17 year old had a cough, it cost $40 for a small bottle of cough syrup!

This is just the first night when we arrived. When I took a shower the soap dispensers were empty. When using the elevators, the hand sanitizer dispenser was empty, and a few of the beach chairs were broken.

Beautiful property. Room was very clean. Very family friendly (we traveled with our 3 and 5 year old). It is not located on Kaanapali beach (5 min drive), but we liked it much better because it was more laid back, less people and quieter (not so touristy). Still has a beach walk where you can visit multiple other resorts for more dining options and use the sister hotels pools. Highly recommend Dukes beach house(dinner) and Mauka Makai(breakfast) that are within walking distance. The only downside is they are understaffed at the pool for pool side service however, there was more staff the last two days we were there (friday and saturday). I'm not sure if it was because of the weekend or because summer vacation had just started (busy season). There is also no waiter service at restraunts on site (order at the front, seat yourself and then they bring your food and other things you need. Not sure if this will be changing as covid caused many staff shortages on the island. Otherwise great resort, friendly staff, store has many items, clean, best pools and would recommend and stay again.
