How to Use AirPlay Mirroring

Make sure that both the iPhone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi connection.
Check that you've enabled Airplay on your iPhone.
Open the app from which you want to stream.
Tap the Airplay icon.

You will need to have an extra HDMI cable ready to use, as it will be used to physically link your iPhone to your Samsung TV.

Connect the HDMI cable to the AV Adapter. You will see the port on the adapter where the HDMI cable needs to be plugged into.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the Samsung TV.

Use the Samsung SmartView App to Connect

If you prefer a wireless solution for connecting your iPhone to your Samsung Smart TV, some apps can help.

When using screen mirroring apps, the Smart TV and the iPhone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The apps will not function if your phone and TV are on different networks.

The Samsung SmartView app is a free app you can install on your phone to allow screen mirroring to your smart TV.

Hoe werkt de App:

1. Zorg ervoor dat je iPhone of iPad op hetzelfde netwerk zit als je Samsung TV. Gebruik geen meerdere VLANs of subnets.

2. Start de Mirror voor Samsung TV app. De app zoekt naar Samsung TVs op het netwerk waar de iPhone of iPad mee verbonden is. Wanneer een TV gevonden wordt, selecteer dan de TV. Wanneer je de app voor het eerst gebruikt, dan zal de TV om toestemming vragen om te een verbinding met je iPhone of iPad te maken. Klik op OK op je TV afstandsbediening om te bevestigen.

3. Sta berichtgeving voor deze app toe. We sturen geen onnodige berichten, maar tijdens screen mirroring kunnen we je op de hoogte houden of je TV goed reageert op je iPhone of iPad.

Beperkingen en bekende problemen:
