Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I have been using Rogaine for women for over 4 months. Not much happening! Difficult to apply!!!! The foam doesn't distribute well in long hair. I'm sure it works well for those with short/shaved hair cuts, but if you have longer hair, it's hard to get it to the scalp. Gel would be sooooooo much better!!!

I'm 64 and could easily see through to my scalp all over the top of my head. It did take a couple of months to see new hair coming in. It's been four months and now and I can't even see a thin spot to apply the foam on the top and sides of my head! I'm hoping my temples will improve as I continue but the rest couldn't be thicker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cins from highly recommended product I saw an ad on tv about rogaine and I thought I would go out and purchase it. I gave it a try because my hair is thinning and dropping a lot. I have noticed after two weeks there is regrowth and my hair is thicker and fulling out. I would highly recommend Rogaine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anglewings from Great Product,just be a little patient Rogaine Foam for Women is really surprising to me.My hair i very fine and thin and I've tried just about everything on the market and,nothing worked.Except for Women's Rogaine Foam.Thi comes at a price but I can tell you it is worth it.Every woman wants a head of Hair and we are so concious about it.My Friend has been using this now for Months and she swears by it.It took me two Months before I saw any new growth.The Foam somehow stimulates the Hair Follicies to start new regrowth.I'm still using it,this is the fourth month now.As long a I can see new growth,I'll keep on using.I recommend you give it a try.

My whole scalp has new hair with no signs of stopping, my pony tail is already twice the size.if this keeps up I will have more and thicker hair than ever. I'm 50 now and so excited I feel more like woman than ever. this product has changed my life. The only thing I am sad about is I didn't take a before photo I was so thin I was painting my scalp to hide the hair loss. Purpose
Hair regrowth treatment for women
Use
to regrow hair on the top of the scalp (see pictures on side of this carton)
Warnings
For external use only.
Extremely Flammable
Avoid fire, flame, or smoking during and immediately following application.
Do not use if
- your degree of hair loss is different than that shown on side of this carton because this product may not work for you
- you have no family history of hair loss
- your hair loss is sudden and/or patchy
- your hair loss is associated with childbirth
- you do not know the reason for your hair loss
- you are under 18 years of age. Do not use on babies and children.
- your scalp is red, inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful
- you use other medicines on the scalp
Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease
When using this product
- do not use more than directed
- do not apply on other parts of the body
- avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes with large amounts of cool tap water.
- some people have experienced changes in hair color and/or texture
- it takes time to regrow hair. Results may occur at 3 months with once daily use. For some women, you may need to use this product once a day for at least 6 months before you see results.
- the amount of hair regrowth is different for each person. This product will not work for all women.
Stop use and ask a doctor if
- chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness, or dizziness occurs
- sudden, unexplained weight gain occurs
- your hands or feet swell
- scalp irritation or redness occurs
- unwanted facial hair growth occurs
- you do not see hair regrowth in 6 months
May be harmful if used when pregnant or breast-feeding.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
Directions
- see enclosed booklet for complete directions on how to use
- apply half a capful once daily directly to the scalp in the hair loss area
- massage into scalp with fingers, then wash hands well
- using more or more often will not improve results
- continued use is necessary to increase and keep your hair regrowth, or hair loss will begin again

- store at controlled room temperature 20º to 25º C (68º to 77º F)

Do you need a script for Rogaine?

Hair loss will begin again within a few months after minoxidil treatment is stopped. In the U.S., this medicine is available without a prescription.

Can female hair loss be treated?

The only medicine approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat female pattern baldness is minoxidil: It is applied to the scalp. For women, the 2% solution or 5% foam is recommended. Minoxidil may help hair grow in about 1 in 4 or 5 of women.

How do you use Rogaine 5 foam?

Part the hair into one or more rows to expose the hair thinning area on the scalp. Hold the can upside down and press the nozzle to put foam on your fingers. Use your fingers to spread the foam over the hair loss area and gently massage into your scalp.
