More About this Item

Oil mist filters eliminate oil residue from collecting in your work area. Oil run-off from the filter returns to the pump. Filters contain polyester-wrapped fiberglass elements that coalesce 99.97% of emitted oil. Match the free-air capacity of your pump and outlet port size to the filter. Construction is nickel-chrome plated steel.

The Agilent oil mist eliminator is designed to remove the oil mist that is emitted from a rotary vane pump exhaust, when the pump is operating with little or no gas load. This prevents the area adjacent to the pump exhaust from becoming slick with oil residue.

Similar products allow only for the exhausted gases to be vented to the room in which the pump is operating. The Agilent oil mist eliminator includes a NW25 connection to allow gases to be routed elsewhere for exhaust.

This product is not available for purchase by the general public.

Features

  • For many applications the DS-series pumps are operating at or near their base pressure, with little or no gas load. In this use case, there is a slight oil mist, or 'smoke' emitted from the pump exhaust.
  • The Agilent oil mist eliminator provides an easy method of preventing this mist form coating the pump and the surrounding area, potentially creating a hazard, and a mess.
  • The oil mist eliminator has a replaceable filter element that collects the oil vapor creating the mist and recondenses the mist into a liquid which then drips back down into the pump exhaust port to return to the pump oil supply.
  • For applications where there is a higher gas load, the Agilent exhaust filter provides a greater degree of oil mist and droplet removal from the DS-series pump exhaust gas stream.

DELTA Exhaust Mist Filters for Vacuum Pumps:

  • High Efficiency 99.5% oil mist elimination from exhaust of oil sealed vacuum pump
  • Provision to drain and recover the separated oil
  • Creates pollution free environment
  • Capital cost is recovered over time due to oil savings
  • Easily replaceable coalescing filter elements, always in stock

Oil Sealed Vacuum Pumps emit oil fumes through the air exhaust port. This is especially considerably during the Start operation. DELTA Exhaust Mist Filters work on the principle of Coalescence. Small oil droplets in the oil fumes are converted into bulk liquid oil. This bulk oil is much heavier than air. Hence it gravitates down into the lower portion of the Filter Bowl.

Oil is then drained off and can be re-used. This results in a smoke free environment as well as cost savings due to recovered lubricating oil. Exhaust Mist Filters are a must in

How does an oil mist eliminator work?

Oil mist eliminators ensure clean, oil-free exhaust air. As particles are removed, what left behind is clean uncontaminated oil. An oil mist separator operates by using the coalescing effect inside a filtering unit. Oil-laden air is led into the filer by way of vacuum.

What is a mist eliminator filter?

The primary function of mist eliminators are to collect water droplets and oil mist from an air stream and divert the liquid to an appropriate drain. The mist eliminators also functions as a washable, low-efficiency particulate filter.

What is lube oil mist eliminator?

The Oil Mist Eliminator improves safety by eliminating oily residue caused by setting oil mist on engine room floors, equipment and stairways. It also keeps the environment clean and helps prevent exterior oil contamination of buildings and grounds. Two versions are available.
