The restaurant on the beach had great food and attentive service as well. Omaggio had amazing food and the Sunday Poolside brunch was good too. Erika in the bar was great as well. I could say some things weren't great, but won't because I'm sure if I had an issue they would have addressed it immediately. I would go back. We're a 40's couple, so I would recommend the Distinct Side, it seem to have less kids. The Emotions side is cool but totally for the family and kids. We hired a private transportation service given our experience from extensive travel to Mexico, it is much safer to do in comparison to a taxi/Uber. We checked out today and on our way to the airport we were ambushed by three cars of taxi drivers along with the hotel staff (I believe they were bus boys who ultimately tipped off the taxi drivers). This was the scariest experience of my life especially with a one year old in the car. A taxi driver stopped in front of our car and blocked our driver from taking us to the airport. My life flashed before my eyes as I thought we were about to get robbed at gun point. Luckily, our driver acted fast and the company immediately noticed and called our driver when they noticed he went off route (the car was GPS tracked). We later found out the bus boys tipped off the taxi drivers and security at the hotel strip exit who ultimately blocked us off. After calling the hotel, they only made excuses by saying the private transportation company hadn’t paid their monthly quota to the union.
