I ordered this for my husband for Valentines, and was disappointed to find that the apples were rotting in the middle. Pears, cheese, and candy were great, so overall it was an okay gift... However, when taken out of the box and shredding, there was very little product- nothing you could not get at a local grocer for about $30. The apples were perfectly crisp. There were minor bruises on on one pear & one apple, but I only noticed b/c my husband wanted me to do a close inspection of "mail-order fruit." The bruising didn't affect taste or consistency & wouldn't keep me from ordering again. The cheese was one I'd never tried before & it was yummy and creamy. The cashews were delicious, and probably the first to go once the box get here. The chocolate covered almonds were delicious - I ate them with the GSF chocolate covered cherries! The pears were the real stars of this show, though. Do remember, there are perishables in this box so be sure you're sending it to an address where someone will be there to get it same day.
