Naturally, the dealer forgot to install the front license plate bracket so I guess I'm left to do it myself (I'm not going to drive more than 80 miles to get it done). The bolts that attach the bracket are not self tapping so I
need to create the holes myself. Should this be done with a drill bit? What size? I'm just a little worried I will make the hole too big for the screws and I have no idea if there is anything behind the bumper to secure the bolt. I did mine myself with a 1/16/drill bit. Look on your bumper there will be two spots that are slightly indented, drill on the spots. I used the two screws that came in the bracket package and I believe they are self tapping. They really held the bracket tightly. Good luck

Use a practice piece of thin scrap wood or even cardboard. Start with a drill you know is too small and work your way up until you get a snug fit to find the appropriate drill size for the provided bolts. If you really want to be precise line up the bracket with the indents Toozm mentioned and mark the holes with a felt tip pen before drilling.
