One of the most highly-anticipated events of the year returns to Horseshoe Bay Resort Easter Weekend, April 15-17. 2022.
Join us as hot air balloons from across the United States come to Horseshoe Bay Resort along with fun festivities that include live music,
an Easter egg-drop, sky divers, helicopter rides, balloon glows,  great food and more!
This event sells out so guests are encouraged to book early.

Skylight Balloon Fest is a relatively new event that got its start in 2017. The festival is definitely worth a visit with around 15 hot air balloons and over a hundred vendors offering their exceptional goods.

You can go for a tethered balloon ride, watch morning competitions, or see the amazing glow at night. Four live concerts, food trucks, a Family Fun Zone, and Jumbo Interactive Area Petting Zoo with 20 varieties of animals are waiting for you.

The admission for one adult person is $10, and children aged 3-11 can enter for $5. Kids younger than 2 years old can be admitted for free. The entry is cash only at the gate.

Avoid waiting in line on Saturday for entrance to polio and related events. Pre-Registration and Wristband Pickup event for the Victory Cup and Fredericksburg Polo Club attendees at Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon starting at 6PM. Live music, food and drinks available. Enjoy Bankersmith on Friday all day, gates open at Noon and bar closes at 10 PM.

Saturday

Bankersmith, TX Dance Hall and Saloon opens to the public! General Admission, VIP and all other guests are welcome to Bankersmith. Register early, get your wristbands and beat the crowds.

VIP's should arrive at Bankersmith for lunch and live music! VIP lunch service is held at the Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon from 11 AM to 1 PM(across the street from the Fredericksburg Polo Club property). VIP food service will also be available at the Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon after the Polo matches and until 6 PM for our VIP's. VIP's should plan on spending a portion of their day at Bankersmith to enjoy the meal included in your pass!

The victory gates at 'Bankersmith Too' open to the Fredericksburg Polo Club! General Admission guests are welcome to arrive and our VIP Attendees can now enter the VIP areas. Full bar, live music and vendors. Do not forget the VIP food service is held at the Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon until 6 PM. So stop in before or after the polo matches! VIP's should plan on spending a portion of their day at Bankersmith to enjoy the meal included in your pass!

Learn a little about the sport! Polo tutorial by world renowned polo player and announcer. Teams mount and enter the playing field. Presentation of the colors by the Color Guard and the National Anthem by local artists. At the Victory Cup we proudly stand for the flag and we love our country. Introduction of the teams and players!

Ceremonial first ball is thrown out. First polo battle will begin. Please be patient with the schedule as players and horses can have a mind of their own. Live music by local artists will commence. Bar service for VIP's is available. Most vendor spaces will be open and ready for business - check out our vendors!

VIP invite-only hospitality tasting tent fieldside opens at 1 PM at the Fredericksburg Polo Club for VIP alcohol tastings.

Dust off your stomping shoes or boots! The celebrated Divot Stomp will commence. Stomping of the divots sponsored by vineyard vines.

Second sponsored polo match begins.

Handpicked by our Announcer, then final selected by the crowd! Get ready and dress to impress! Best Dressed Awards start as soon as the final match ends!

All guests, including VIP's should head to the Bankersmith for dinner and live music! VIP's should plan on spending a portion of their day at Bankersmith to enjoy the meal included in your pass! VIP dinner service is held at the Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon until 6 PM.

The Victory Cup festivities conclude and the Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon closes. Please don't drink and drive!

EVENT LOCATION & PARKING: The schedule for this event will be held at TWO LOCATIONS:

LOCATION ONE: 7905 Old San Antonio Road, Fredericksburg, Texas in a historic Texas Ghost Town called Bankersmith, Texas! Handicap parking is available onsite but limited.

LOCATION TWO: 8142 Old San Antonio Road, Grapetown, Texas 78624 on a beautiful 85 acre equestrian property! Handicap parking, hay rides and limited shuttling will be available.
