For members who have been reassigned to a new MCO by the Louisiana Department of Health effective January 1, 2023, authorizations are being
shared and will be loaded into our systems by the six MCOs (Aetna, Amerihealth Caritas, Healthy Blue, Humana, Louisiana Healthcare Connections and United Healthcare) that cover the time frame of January 1, 2023, or after. If you chose to resubmit to the updated MCO, please do so per current prior authorization guidelines.
