You know.. mine did the same thing when I purchased it. I tried to track it down, eventually gave up. I do not like messing around in the side the columns so I mounted/wired a momentary switch on the right side of the dash, next to the column. Within in easy reach, since I usually drive with one hand on the wheel and one hand on the stick it is as close now as it was using the center of the steering wheel. It stopped working right after I got broken into. Whoever broke in had my fuse panel pulled out when I got back to my jeep. For a while my speedometer and everything on my dash was broke too, but that started working again. I know the horn relay is working because I replaced the fuse and I can hear it click when I try to honk. Does anyone know how I fix my horn? 12-24-2009, 01:00 AMSeasoned Member

Might just be your actual horn like above states. Junior Member

I don't know about the second idea... but if the wires are there I don't see why not. 11-10-2011, 12:15 AMCF Veteran

I pressed the steering wheel activator and it went out, NOW, no horn ( went out in traffic yesterday) and the steering activator is mushy (normally firm) Is this some sort of electrical issue/fuse problem or something else??? 05-23-2012, 11:36 AMJunior Member

What would cause my horn to stop working? But an inoperative car horn can also be caused by a bad horn switch in your steering wheel, a broken “clock spring” under the steering wheel, a bum horn relay, a broken wire, or a corroded ground. Here's how to check the most likely suspects: Start by checking the fuse.
Where is the horn on a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Here is what I found out - the factory horn is actually two horns (dual tone as indicated previously) located behind the front bumper on the passenger's side.
