Illinois residents will be able to renew their license plate stickers and leave with the sticker the same day*. You will need your Illinois Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice or Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Driver’s license number, and license plate number. * If your vehicle needs to pass an emissions test, the Library will be unable to renew your license plate.
