Unsure about the differences between the American Pool Tables and English Pool Tables?

What is the minimum size room for a pool table?

Minimum room sizes for each table size, using a standard 58″ cue: 7 foot table – 13 x 16 feet minimum room size (156″ x 192″) 8 foot table – 13.6 x 17 feet minimum room size (162″ x 204″) Oversize 8 foot table – 13.6 x 17.6 feet minimum room size (162″ x 210″)

How big should a room be for a 7ft pool table?

Using standard 58” pool cues, an ideal room size for an 8' table would be 13' 2” x 16' 10”. For a 7' table, the ideal room size would be 12' 9" x 16'. Using smaller pool cues, such as those of 52” or 48” in length, is an option if your room has any 'tight' spots around it.
