The "Bird" on my hood came from Roscoe & Cheater's. It was aftermarket, new old stock.

I have never seen another one. I have seem them for Fords but never for Chevy. Notice it's a bull nose that lays flat on the hood.

I also have a couple old water decals from there.

Pops: Good to see you were at Teschner's ...a step up from The DougOut . 57BorntoRun is right. He was reasonable on everything, but attached to the panel truck, wanting 85 G's. I could see someone in the Birmingham area that grew up with that speed shop (and having deep pockets) buying it. It was just flat out cool and nostalgic. The owner said if he was younger, he'd open that shop right back up again. I'd work with him ...for free!

PS the wife and I went by there this morning. They were closed and no one around. Half of the sign they bought from the side of the building was still there.
