Is there a boxing game for xbox one

It's been a long time since boxing fans have been treated to a mainstream boxing game on Xbox - Fight Night Champion just celebrated its 10th anniversary (!) - but there's some good news, as a new challenger is entering the ring.

Specifically, this game is called eSports Boxing Club, which was actually unveiled back in April of last year, set to feature 65 licensed boxers, realistic venues, a fully-customisable career mode, officially licensed gear and much more.

And now, we've got some official gameplay footage to show you! The video above goes into a deep dive on everything from movement to the adrenaline system, and while it's early footage, it definitely appears to be showing promise.

eSports Boxing Club looks set to release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S whenever it does eventually arrive, but there's nothing official on any kind of release window just yet, and it seems it might still be a while out.

Liking the look of eSports Boxing Club? Let us know down in the comments section below.

Looks really promising! I tried Fight Night Champion and the fighting system is terrible compared to my favourite FN Round 3. EA has seemingly forgotten about Fight Night so I'm happy others are stepping up.

Been following the game for some time, really interesting. And they have heavy support from loads of major names in boxing. They have come quite far, but preferred to make it more feature complete before the release on Steam Early Access!

Just call it eSports Boxing. Drop the Club because it sounds stupid. Looks promising, I'll keep a eye out on this one.

Minus all the EA ***** this could be even better than Fight Night.

I was sceptical of this right from the start but it seems like the people involved really know what they're doing here. Probably my most anticipated game at the moment tbf

The fact Eddie Hall (the Beast) and I’m assuming Hafthor Bjornsson (the Mountain from GoT) are in the game is awesome.

They are two World’s Strongest Man winners who are the only people in history to lift 500kg off the floor and are gonna be boxing each other later this year

I’ve not played a boxing game since Punch Out, but I’d play this just for them. Haha

This looks really impressive so far. The animation is looking pretty smooth. The only glaring problem I saw was the animation when punching. It just looks like they are moving their arms out and in, with no perceived speed or force (or snap) behind the punches. I see this problem a lot with game animation.

The game looks great and the roster does too...

Bruno and Nigel Benn.... hoping they have more 90s British boxers to come. Licensing in boxing is soo tough so I salute whoever complied the roster so far. Hoping a few more of the big obvious boxers get added even if paid DLC.

I’m blown away they got Bruno. Hopefully you can be licensed guys in careers like in fight night. Just started a career on BC version as David Haye.

Are there any boxing games on Xbox?

Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions.

Why did EA stop making boxing games?

The games didn't sell well enough to justify making them. Fight Night was fairly expensive to make for two reasons: it had a fair amount of licensing expense, and more importantly it was the only game EA Chicago made.

Does Xbox have fighting games?

If you want to stay on top of the latest fighting games for the Xbox Series X, make sure to put King of Fighters 15 on your list.

Is Fight Night Free on Xbox One?

The Fight Night Champion video game is currently free on Xbox One.
