Nice placerockyc720 , COUPLES May 30, 2022 Check in went quickly. Room was clean and well furnished. TV had great cable service including FNN. In room coffee machine used the nice easy to use cups. All areas were very clean. We forgot our tooth brushes and they furnished us with some free. Breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs, omelets, several breads including pancakes, assorted fruits and juices, cereals, yogurt, and both sausage and bacon. About the only complaint we had was the Mandatory Mask signs. I never seen any customers wearing them, but the signs were everywhere. Lousy Customer ServiceSusiemustang40 , FRIENDS May 31, 2021 I arrived at the Holiday Inn express with a friend to check in at: Sat Reservation # info Holiday Inn Express,6351 North Freeway,Fort Worth, TX 76131 on Sat night 5-29-21 to check in (10:30 pm). I was checked in by the clerk above in the pic, took my credit card Info and had me sign the check in form (given door key for room 311) . Upon entering the room the room, and when my friend &n I opened the door, it had a baby crib in it, Trash all around the room and someone else’s personal items (including suitcases) in it-was clearly occupied. I went back down to the front desk to inform the front desk clerk on duty that the room was occupied and that he needed to give me another room. He stated they were completely booked up and had no other rooms & he insisted that no was “ in the room or that it was NOT occupied to take it as is”. I asked him to have housekeeping go upstairs to CLEAN the room. He stated no one was available to clean it. I ask for the general manager’s name of this Holiday Inn Express and to call him or her and he stated he didn’t know his or her (the manager’s name OR PHONE NUMBER) I told him that was ridiculous considering that he had to have a way to get in touch with the General manager in CASE OF EMERGENCY. I also asked for the General Manager’s business card which are usually available at the front desk, he stated,” I don’t have any & I The Manager’s office is locked & I don’t have access to the office.” My friend & I were really tired & this front desk clerk, Orlando (I found out as we were leaving when he finally revealed his name, no name tag) and my friend & I were out of patience with this gentleman. Orlando acted like we were Supposed to accept a dirty room (which I would think with COVID sanitation and health dept rules was Against IHG’s policy) or that we were out of luck. He never offered to call another IHG hotel in the area To see if a room was available elsewhere. since this Holiday INN express location hotel was SOLD OUT. I asked for a refund for the room & he stated” I can’t cancel it the reservation out because it was booked with points (WHICH IS NOT CORRECT) and that I used the app (WHICH WAS NOT CORRECT EITHER).MY FRIEND AND & I could not find a hotel in the DFW metroplex that had a hotel room available & were forced to DRIVE 6 hrs in the DARK AT 11:30 pm back to our hometown, & being exhausted because there were no hotel rooms available since it was a HOLIDAY WEEKEND. THIS IS inexcusable!!!!!! We had driven into from hometown That same day & had to turn around to drive home the SAME DAY!! Not bad for 1 nightiowakrb , May 06, 2021 We were in a room near the elevator, which ended up being pretty noisy. Also had a lot of noise from the interstate right out the window. Beds were comfy, loved the pillow choice. Easy to get to from interstate and plenty of food options near. Will Not Stay Here Againstrick1404 , FAMILY Feb 27, 2021 I'm generally not one to leave a negative review, however my recent experience at this hotel was worth letting others know about so they can hopefully choose a better one in the area. Yes, the hotel is in a good area. Lots of dining options nearby and the area felt safe. Yes, it was clean. That's about where the good things end. The road noise from the nearby interstate was very loud. The exhaust from every other truck that was cruising down the highway could be heard quite well from my second story room. The indoor pool was freezing cold. No hot tub... Only 2 bath towels were supplied in the room. When we asked for 2 extras the clerk wanted us to exchange 2 dirty ones for 2 clean ones. Really?? Apparently there is a towel limit, even though we had 4 people in the room. My wife, 2 children, and I had a King Suite room. There were no linens or pillows for the fold out couch bed. Not a big deal until we were told there were no extra pillows for the kids. SERIOUSLY?? No pillows??? The evening clerk said she couldn't grab any from another room and had NO solution to the problem. I offered to go buy extras and have the total deducted from my bill. She refused that option and said it wasn't possible. I asked for a manager and was told I'd have to wait until the morning. Again, no solution. I asked for a phone number to the corporate office. She gave the name of the hotel group and said I could "Google" the number. Piss poor customer service coupled with excessive exterior noise and a cold pool. You'd be better off staying elsewhere. Better Pandemic Breakfast Than Othersrockyc720 , COUPLES Dec 21, 2020 I've stayed in three hotels in DFW since the pandemic; this is the only one offering a somewhat better breakfast. The other two just handed out bags with some food inside. The breakfast here was all prepackaged food but you could pick your own. They offered hot (Microwave) and cold items. The king sized bed was too hard for me. I'm a side sleeper and the very firm mattress was not comfortable. Bathroom mirror had lights all the way around it. Made it easier to shave by. Easy check in and check out. Good selection of TV channels on cable. It's hard to find people willing to work everywhere and they were having problems. We stayed two nights and the desk told us there would be no room service to clean up between nights. They did offer to exchange towels if we brought them down. I like my coffee in the morning and they only offered one caffeinated coffee packet in the room. Tried to get a refill when I got towels but they refused. The coffee in the breakfast area not available till 6:30. The hotel had a sign that said dog friendly. We seen and heard many of them. High security area; a security person drove around the parking lot all night.
