Jul 30, 2019 I am wanting to fly the flag behind my Jeep during outings and drives with my local Jeep groups. What is a good pole to place into the receiver that can withstand the wind and driving on the highway and where have you bought them from?

sucked. Poor quality and fit. I have a flag pole holder that fits in the hitch and rigged a PVC pie and works well at 75mph. Now I just a got a new setup form truckflagpole.com and its fits using the spare tire lugs. Reviews I have seen around were great. 252.1 KB Views: 543

Just the holder and the one i have. Need a 2” flag pole which is near impossible to find. Why I used PVC. That page shows some different poles too. Though, I see several poles which are rated only up to 35-40 mph. I guess intended for old people or parades. Again, intended

You should NEVER display Old Glory in a way that it could become dirty. And never on the rear of a vehicle. Fly your flags at home and follow the established US Flag Code if you

I ordered my double flag holder from a local shop. Along with an American Flag and MIA/POW Flag for a little over $200. The poles are aluminum and I wrapped duct tape around 1/2" aluminum conduit and inserted them into the flap poles for more strength. I've only drove about 55 mph, but they do seem to be holding up well. I have not had them on
without the top on though, so the flags are not getting a lot of wind. Joined Jan 1, 2018 · 632 Posts

This was for veterans at Silver Lake Sand Dunes. I could not count the amount of American Flags being flown on all the vehicles. The veterans thought it was great. If the ones that fought for our Flag find it great, then that's what matters. I have a double flag holder and I do, and will continue to

He had recently been back to Normandy (the last time he was there, it was for war) and said he saw more US flags flying there than he does at home. He said, "People, please fly our flag. I don't care if it is raining, or dark, fly our flag!" Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk Joined Jan 1, 2018 · 632 Posts

off to no end. It pisses me off to no end when people show great disrespect to the American Flag, even with the excuse of being simply naïve. If you want to fly an American Flag, take the time to learn about it first. One should never, ever, let darkness fall upon the American Flag. One needs to take the flag down at sunset, or artificially illuminate it. People who disrespect the American Flag this way, rank right up there with those who burn the flag,
or use it as toilet paper, even as a 1st Amendment protest. Joined Dec 8, 2015 · 3,076 Posts

Just curious what is it like driving (I assume topless) down the highway at 70-80 mph with a huge-ass flag flying? That's gotta be - interesting? Joined Aug 12, 2015 · 115 Posts

I just use my hi-lift jack handle.
How do you fly the flag on a Jeep Wrangler?A single flag should fly from the right (passenger) side of the vehicle. If two flags are displayed, it's okay to put one on each side, but they should be mounted at the same height and be hung in the same way. The flag should be displayed with the stars in the upper left-hand corner, with an important exception.
How do you mount a flag on a travel trailer? All you do is place the tire flag mount on the ground and park your tire right over the metal surface on the ground. After, just insert your flag pole and flag. The weight of your RV or vehicle holds your flag pole into place.
