You can apply for an Ulta cards in-store at checkout or online. There's only one application, so Comenity Bank decides whether you get the Ulta Credit Card or the Ulta Store Card.

It's possible to get instantly approved in-store or online. If you're approved in-store, you can use your account right away for a purchase. Customers approved online may also look up their account in-store before their card arrives. But you can't make a purchase online before you get your card.

Points expire at the end of the quarter one year after you earned them. For example, if you earned points in January 2022, they would expire on March 31, 2023.

The points you earn in a month show up within five business days of your statement closing.

You generally need good credit to get the Ulta Credit Card and fair credit to get the Ulta Store Card.

If you're a frequent Ulta customer, getting an Ulta Store Card could definitely be a good idea. But the Ulta Credit Card isn't so great for other purchases. So it's best to use a different rewards card for non-Ulta spending.

This is a horrible Credit card company, if you can avoid please do, they charge you interest on late fees even when you paid what you owe without notifying you of your bal and the last time to reported my account to the credit bureau was in June, 2022 living my credit history with a bal of $290 that has been paid off in July. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN

Since Bread has bought Comenity they aren’t reporting each month & it’s affecting credit scores. I have multiple cards with them. It’s extremely upsetting. It’s not been updated since June 2022.

NEVER get this card!!!!! I paid the full amount on October 3rd and today November 9th I got a call saying my payment is late and now I have to pay $79 BUT I HAVEN'T USED THIS CARD SINCE OCTOBER! My balance was $0.

Although this credit card has a high interest rate, I am able to use it at other stores. This convenience has come in handy at times. As long as you make your payments on time they are qwilling to work with you if a problem arises.

They charged 2.00 interest and didn’t alert me - then charged a late fee of 37.00 to my next bill and I didn’t pay late on my bill.

I opened this online and was instantly approved and used it with no problem. When my card arrived it was in my old married name from over 7 years ago, which was legally changed then and haven't used since my divorce. Not sure how this happened but when I called to request that it be changed and explained that I didn't enter this last name in application they wanted me to upload a divorce decree when it wasn't my mistake to begin with. Not going to courthouse to request one to jump through hoops to fix an issue they created. Closed account since they couldn't perform a simple task.

Extremely annoyed with Commenity Bank! I have 2 accounts with them and its 9/14/2022, they have not reported my balance since June 2022. 3 months!!! I have called them 7 times asking for them to report.
Late July was told system updates took place so they'd be updated in Aug.
Then I'm told in August they did report. Here it is another month later and I'm told they didn't report and wouldn't until end of September!! Completely unacceptable and causing me a hardship dragging my fico scores down when I am buying a house in a time limit!!! I have thought about closing both accounts. I wish capital one never sold their accounts to Commenity bank!! I do not recommend this bank!! They lack tremendously and need reported!!!
