Bergamot fragrance oil for candles

Bergamot Essential Oil

The rind of both ripe and unripe fruit is used to extract the oil, which yields about 0.5 % oil which has a watery viscosity. The scent of the oil is basically citrus, yet fruity and sweet, with a warm spicy floral quality and is reminiscent of neroli as well as lavender oil. The color ranges from green to greenish-yellow.

Is bergamot safe for candles?

This essential oil can be used in candles, soaps and diffusers.

What does bergamot smell like in candle?

Known as the “prince of citrus,” bergamot is a sunny and pleasant citrus scent featured in many perfumes as well as luxury candles. It's aroma is refreshing and rounded; sweet, but complex and deep at the same time; similar to lime, but with floral, herbal, and resinous undertones.

What essential oils make candles smell stronger?

This may go without saying, but if you want to make essential oil candles that smell stronger, start by choosing oils that have a strong scent. Top note essential oils historically used in perfume making have a very noticeable scent. Think lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus, lavender, or grapefruit.

Which is better for candles essential oil or fragrance oil?

Most DIY candle makers like to use fragrance oils when concocting scented candles, since they're more user-friendly. Essential oils are more challenging because they're more volatile, meaning they have a lower boiling point and evaporate more quickly when exposed to heat.
