I have a 6 month old German Shepherd/Husky mix named Porter. I made a decision early that I wanted Porter to have a full and happy life with me and that investing in proper training was vital to achieve that. I want him to be active, but he especially struggled with leash pulling and distractions when outside and around other dogs. So I met with Mike at KC Dawgz and we had a great conversation about my goals for Porter and for myself. A few days later my pup was enrolled in the 2-week board and train program. The change in Porter's behavior was amazing. My vet cannot believe how quickly he matured. And as more questions have popped up after the initial training, Maureen has provided me more tips and tricks to help Porter continue to learn. That was the biggest thing of all to me. Yes, they trained Porter...but even more importantly, Maureen and the team trained me on how to get the best out of him. And they continue to do so. I'll continue to enroll Porter into group training sessions and even private lessons as he craves to learn more - and there's lots more to learn! I can't thank KC Dawgz enough, they have been great!

Mike and his staff are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I have a 1 year old black lab mix who is very energetic and needed training/structure. Mike developed a customized training plan and my dog's behavior has changed dramatically for the better in a short period of time. I'd highly recommend KC Dawgz to anyone who is looking for high quality professional obedience training for their dog.

We did the 2 week board and train for our one year old goldendoodle. It was amazing and the best training we have ever had for a dog. Maureen was amazing and showed a real love for our dog. We would highly recommend KC Dawgz.

KC Dawgz was the best investment we could have made for our rescue pup, Walter! Rescuing a dog comes with the unknown of what they endured prior to a life with you (their new owners). Walter did well to some commands but had trouble with his reactivity to other animals, people, basically anything that moved in front of him. We also had issues with counter surfing and mouthing. Although Walter is still a pup, it was a night and day difference after doing the 2 week board and train program. Walter is a high energy pup that needed a lot of patience and corrections for him to understand. An E collar had to be used and still does to correct his unwanted behaviors. As long as it is being used correctly, no harm should come to your dog while using the E collar. It had and continues to work tremendously for Walter. Those who abuse that method of correction and training are causing disconnect and harm to their dog. KC Dawgz is a great training company and I highly, highly recommend them to all those I talk to about training their dogs! I can’t say it enough on how great they are with the dogs and their owners. We continue to see great progress from Walter and all the thanks goes to Mike and Mo and the rest of the KC Dawgz team! Thank you KC Dawgz!

Training at KC Dawgz is amazing. We brought our German Shepherd puppy to puppy class there - that class was led by Mike, and it was amazing. Our puppy learned so much and got to experience so many new and different activities. It's a great puppy class - really well structured to build on basic obedience. We liked it so much we signed up for private lessons after the class ended with both our puppy and our adult dog with reactivity issues. We are doing private lessons with Maureen and we love her. She is so great with both of our dogs and they have both improved by leaps and bounds since we started training with her. We get so many compliments on our dogs behavior! We had tried 4 or 5 different trainers and methods with our reactive dog and nothing helped - after just 3 lessons she is already unbelievably better. We can't praise Maureen enough - we adore her! Anyone looking for dog training should come here. They take a balanced approach and always have the dogs best interests in mind.

Our dog just completed the two week board and train program at KC Dawgz. Although we were skeptical about sending our dog away that long (my dog is like my child), I can definitely say that it was worth it! Mike and his staff is fabulous and our dog came home with strong obedience and behavior skills that we would have never thought possible! Our dog also had some issues with potty training and after working with Mike and taking his advice in our going home session, we are almost a week out without one accident. Our dog basically uses the bathroom on command! We left KC Dawgz with a newfound knowledge and insight that we never knew about canines! We have already told several of our friends about KC Dawgz and the fantastic care and training our dog has received, and will continue to refer anyone and everyone to this service. I simply cannot stress enough how amazed and thankful we are that we made this investment in our dog, it has definitely been worth it. Do not believe the negative reviews, Mike and his staff are experts and know exactly what they are doing! Thank you KC Dawgz, you are absolutely a first rate, first class business!

I can’t thank Mo and team enough for the work and effort they put into our dog. We adopted our 5 year old, 125 lbs boy and he had some bad habits that were a huge concern. He was a very aggressive guarder of bones and toys which made it hard for us to play and discouraged us from giving him fun things. Now he happily drops, leaves it and plays and plays! He also did a complete 180 on the leash and doesn’t pull! As big as he is it’s a major concern and it’s been so relaxing to take him on long walks so he can lose those extra pounds and also just so he can enjoy life! Mo also made strides for our dog’s aggression towards other dogs. He can now go to dog parks!!! (Muzzle on of course). Training here at KC Dawgz has taken so much stress and worry out of our lives and improved the relationship with our giant fur baby. I can’t thank Mo enough for her advice and help throughout this process. I highly recommend KC Dawgz to everyone! Rather fine tuning or (like us) a complete change they have really blow us away.

Omg this place is unreal great Service. The team was is unbelievably talented. My family felt so blessed by the services they provided. We rescued A poodle named Collin now he was amazing but he had a lot of behavioral issues Mike came along and fix them all.
