Before you deposit your check:
- Endorse the check, be sure to include your account # and label it “For mobile deposit to WFTFCU.”
- Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos.
- Know the limits- there is a $3,000 maximum deposit for a single check and $5,000 maximum aggregate deposit per day.
To deposit:
- When prompted for the amount, carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches the amount written on your check.
- Items received 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. M-F on business days will be processed the same day.
Take the photo:
- Place the check on a solid dark background before taking the photo.
- Take the photo of your check in a well-lit area.
- Keep your phone flat and steady above the check when taking your photo.
- Keep the check within the view finder on the camera screen when capturing your photo.
- Make sure the MICR line (numbers on the bottom of your check) is readable and that all four corners are visible.
- Make sure that the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting your deposit and that there are no shadows across the check.

Recently we have launched our new Online Banking platform. The new experience features a bright and contemporary design with intuitive, custom tiles. You can easily deposit a check virtually using the new mobile app. Please note: the Deposit Check is available through the mobile app only. Please make sure your signature on the paper check is legible and the photos
you take are clear. You also should double-check the amount of the check against what you’ve entered to avoid a mismatch when trying to submit a deposit. Simple errors can cause your mobile check deposit to be rejected. Finally, don’t discard the paper check immediately. If something goes wrong with your mobile check deposit, you may need to deposit the paper check instead. Hold on to the check and, after the mobile check deposit clears, you can safely destroy the paper check or void
it and keep it on file. Mobile check deposit is a convenient way to add money to TCU accounts. Here's how it works:For Members with Personal Accounts
For Business Members
- Download TCU’s Business Mobile App.
- Then log in to the app and find “Deposit A Check” in the menu.
- Next, sign the back of the check the way you would if you were depositing it at a branch — and add the line, “For Mobile Deposit Only with TCU.” Designate the account.
- Enter the check amount.
- Take a photo of the front and back of the check using your mobile device’s camera.
- Review the deposit details, then hit submit to process your deposit.
