What else should you know about Bausch + Lomb ULTRA?

¶BAUSCH + LOMB ULTRA contact lenses are indicated for daily wear or extended wear of up to seven days. What are the marks on contact lens for?

Toric lenses generally have engraved lines along their nominal horizontal and/or vertical meridians to indicate how much the lens has rotated on the eye (Figure 2). This enables the practitioner to offset the astigmatic axis so that when the lens is on the eye, the optical correction is accurate.

Which contact lens is marked with a dot?

If there is a bubble trapped then it is usually recommended to remove the lens and reinsert it. The lens can then be rotated to the correct orientation, often denoted by a mark at the "top" of the lens, with a finger. A "left" scleral lens is often marked with two dots, and a "right" is marked with one dot.
