About the Producer

Bausch & Lomb Incorporated

How do you use Bausch and Lomb sensitive eye saline solution?

Direct a steady stream of Sensitive Eyes® Saline Solution onto each side of the lens for 5 seconds, or until all traces of the cleaner are removed. Rinsing After Chemical Disinfection (Including hydrogen peroxide systems) • Clean, rinse and disinfect your lenses as directed by your eye care practitioner.

Can you use Bausch and Lomb saline solution as eye drops?

Contact Solution is mainly used to clean your contact lenses from the daily grime and germs that buildup. It is not meant for use in your eyes as drops. Although contact solution does contain the saline solution, which is safe for the eyes, it also has cleaning compounds.

Is it safe to put saline solution in your eyes?

When prepared correctly, homemade saline solution is similar to distilled water. For this reason, it is safe to use in the nose as a sinus rinse and as an eye rinse. A person can also use saline solution to rinse contact lenses, piercings, and cuts or scrapes, but this will not sterilize them.

Is saline eye wash the same as contact solution?

However, saline solution is NOT the same as contact solution. It contains no cleaning or disinfecting agents. It should not replace your daily lens solution.
