Good movie for Children
For kids, its a good movie, but the adults that watched it thought it was not as entertaining as the original, but then again, who could beat the original. The songs on this movie were smewhat corny and to have a Hippo on the North Pole, not sure where that fit? However, the story line or climax was very cute relating to how used and discarded toys feel after their life cycle has expired. This twist, conversely to the Island of Misfits Toys sheds a whole new light on different toys that lose the love of children. The animation was teriffic.
A not so good version of a classic Rudolph
We love the original claymation characters of the original Rudolph story. This one, not so much. Plus, the DVD looks new, except for a defect on the outer edge making it impossible for us to watch it. The few sections we did watch, we didn't care for the movie.

Been looking for this for ages! My kid loved this movie when he was little. He was absolutely excited to get this. Only problem was that the disc wasn't secured as the little tabs that hold it in place were broken. Recieved way too late to give for christmas but was still happy to get a late gift.

I was expecting it to be like the 1964 original production, but was disappointed to see this as a typical cartoon-style feature for little kids. I have not opened it (but saw it on YouTube) and want my money back.
