iPhone 13 Pros & Cons

All about the iPhone 13 is live. There’s no 120Hz LTPO display, a similar design, but offers better battery life owing to a more efficient 5G modem, and you get to see significant camera enhancements. The iPhone 13 just got even more powerful with the advanced Apple A15 Bionic chipset. The base variant of the iPhone 13 comes in 128GB storage which seems quite sensible now. 

The iPhone 13 comes with a 6.1-inch display. A sharp OLED Super Retina display provides increased brightness of up to 800nits in normal usage and 1200nits with HDR content. On the inside, the new Apple A15 Bionic SoC is the star. Even last year’s A14 Bionic, the business argues, is still better than the competition, and its lead has expanded. You have both 5G and LTE support.

iPhone 13 Launch in India

The next generation of the iPhone is here. Apple just announced the iPhone 13 with an enhanced camera and battery life, which looks similar to what we have seen before and added new colours to the catalogue. 

Apple iPhone 13 Price in India 

To begin, the beginning costs are identical to those of the preceding models, including in India. Additionally, you get double the storage with the basic variations. The iPhone 13 has a starting price of Rs. 79,900. You may pay Rs. 10,000 to increase the storage capacity to 256GB, bringing the pricing to Rs. 79,900 and Rs. 89,900, respectively. For the first time, non-Pro iPhones will have a 512GB storage option, but it will cost an additional Rs. 20,000, increasing the top-end iPhone 13’s price to Rs. 1,09,900.

Five new colourways are available: Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Pink, and (Product)Red. There is no longer a charger or headset included in the package; instead, a Type-C Lightning cable, a SIM eject pin, and an Apple logo sticker are included.

iPhone 13 Design

Apple iPhone 13 comes with a sleek flat-edge design that people loved last year with the iPhone 12. Apple claims the iPhone 13 to be incredibly durable with its exclusive ceramic shield coating which is tougher than any form of glass. It comes with an industry-leading IPD68 rating which makes it dust-resistant, waterproof and scratchproof. There is a slight change in the design here with the dual camera lens arranged diagonally. iPhone 13 features an aerospace aluminium frame and this time in five new colours, Pink, Blue, Midnight, Starlight and Red.

For all those who were expecting the notch to be removed in the iPhone 13, Apple is still not there yet. Although, the size of the notch has gone smaller by 20%.

Plus, the iPhone 13 has been designed by keeping the environment in mind. The antenna lines on the metal frame of iPhone 13 use upcycle plastic which has not been used by anyone in the industry yet. This year Apple has even eliminated the plastic wraps around the iPhone 13 boxes to save plastics.

iPhone 13 Display

iPhone 13 features an even advanced 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display which is 28% brighter and goes up to 800 nits of brightness. For HDR content, the iPhone 13 display allows a peak max HDR brightness of 1200 nits which is quite vibrant. It comes with the support of Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG for an immersive viewing experience.

Unfortunately, there is no ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate here in the iPhone 13 so that does not change yet with the cheaper iPhone.

iPhone 13 Performance

The chipset that powers the all-new iPhone 13 is the Apple A15 Bionic. It’s a lightning-fast chip with 15 billion transistors that leaves the competition behind, in fact, makes the new iPhones future proof. The A15 silicon chip is based on a 5nm process delivers more performance and power efficiency. iPhone 13 is powered by a powerful 6-core CPU where you get 2 high-performance cores and 4 high-efficiency cores. For graphics intensive tasks like playing advanced games, the A15 Bionic chipset features 4-core GPU enabling enhanced visuals. The image processing also gets better with the 16-core neural engine and 2x system cache.

Now since the world is moving to 5G super soon, there is an improved 5G connectivity with more 5G bands. 

iPhone 13 Camera

iPhone 13 comes with an advanced dual camera system arranged diagonally. The first lens is the 12MP Wide-angle f/1.6 lens with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) which was introduced last year in the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The second lens is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 120 degrees field of view.

The iPhone 13 also brings in a brand new feature called Cinematic Mode which shoots in Dolby Vision HDR. This mode automatically creates beautiful depth effects and focus transitions to make your videos feel like movies. The technology is called rack focus which means shifting focus from one subject to another effortlessly.

Smart HDR 4 can now recognize up to four different people in a frame and adjust the lighting accordingly. Apple also introduced photographic styles to boost colours and personalise whatever you shoot from your iPhone 13 camera.

iPhone 13 selfie camera does not fall behind because the 12MP TruDepth camera system acquires all the latest features from the rear cameras including Cinematic Mode and Smart HDR 4.

iPhone 13 Battery

Apple intends to improve the battery life with the iPhone 13 with up to 2.5 hours more than the iPhone 12 which means the battery capacity has improved this time. Apple never mentions the battery mAh though. Even with the brand new hardware, brighter display and loads of new features, Apple promises better battery life with the iPhone 13, thanks to the power-efficient A15 Bionic chipset.

Apple also included the Smart Data mode to ensure better battery life while switching between Wifi and LTE.

Apple iPhone 13 also supports the wireless Magsafe charging just like last year and comes with fast changing support of up to 20W. Mind you, there is no charging adapter included in the boxyet again.
