The Uber Eats delivery service process has six phases:
- Go Online
- Accept a Delivery Request
- Go to the Pickup Location
- Verify, Pick up and Confirm your UberEATS
- Drop Off the order to the Customer
- The Delivery is Completed
1. Go Online
Throughout a delivery you'll tap a series of buttons in the Uber for Drivers app. The first important bottom is the blue “GO” in the delivery app.
2. Accept an UberEats order
It's the first step of a delivery. With Uber Eats food delivery, customers can place food orders via the app. For every placed order you will get a delivery offer. UberEats delivery requests are easily recognizable because they have a shopping bag icon. You have approximately 15 seconds before the order disappears. To accept a delivery request, tap anywhere on the screen of your Uber Driver App.
3. Go to The Pick up Location
Delivering food using the Uber app as a driver is not that complicated. Uber has in-app navigation that helps delivery people make deliveries faster and more reliable. With Uber navigation, the map is available directly in the app for Uber Eats drivers. Furthermore Uber Eats bikers can select a navigation option designed for 2 wheels and avoid tunnels or highways.

4. Verify, Pick up and Confirm your UberEATS
It's the fourth step of a delivery. When you arrive at the restaurant, tell the restaurant the order number you are collecting.
Check the order numbers and number of items at the restaurant are correct. Tap the check mark inside the app to confirm that you picked up the order then tap CONFIRM ORDER. For "Order & Pay" deliveries, you have to use the Uber Plus Card. Customers are able to track the progress and get estimated times of the delivery on the map of their UberEats App.
5. Drop off the UberEATS order
Tap on the “Start delivery” button and follow in the navigation system the directions to the customer. If you need to communicate with the customer you can easily do it by using the icon phone on your UberEats driver app.
6. The Delivery is completed
Tap the ‘Confirm delivery’ button inside the Uber Eats driver app once you’ve completed the delivery. Stay online to receive other delivery requests.
Track Your Earnings
You can easily track your earnings including customer’s tips. Open the app menu on the top left corner of your map. If you have a positive balance, you can also cash out your earnings.
