Does the Honda CR-V get good gas mileage?
Will I get good gas mileage if I buy a Honda CR-V or will I have to fill up the tank all the time? I like the look of the car but I want to make sure it’s right for me first.
The answer depends on the model year of the vehicle you choose, but the 2022 Honda CR-V can get up to 28 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon when highway driving, giving the car an average gas mileage of 31 miles per gallon. This is a fairly average fuel efficiency level for a car of this size.
The CR-V Hybrid gets much better gas mileage, of course, since it’s partially powered by electricity. The hybrid can get up to 40 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway. If you’re really intent on getting a car with high fuel efficiency, the hybrid is a good option.
Regardless of the car you choose, though, the Jerry app can help you find a car insurance policy that works for you. Just download the app and answer some quick questions to see quotes customized for you. The average user saves $887 per year.
