We would love to see you participate in this event as it is sponsored by our Wake Gastro department.  By attending this event you are not only supporting Wake Gastro with your participation, you are supporting the Colon Cancer Coalition and their mission to prevent more lives from being cut short by colorectal cancer.

TERRAIN: Route is on gravel, grass, and trail

SCHEDULE: 8:45 a.m. – Kids’ Fun Run
9:00 a.m. – 5K Timed Run
9:00 a.m. – 5K Walk

PARTICIPANTS THAT SIGN-UP ONLINE BY MARCH 31ST ARE GUARANTEED A 5K T-SHIRT, AS WELL AS, A TEAM T-SHIRT TO WEAR DURING THE RUN/WALK.

The Get Your Rear in Gear 5K - Asheville is a Running race in Asheville, North Carolina consisting of a Kids Run/Fun Run and 5K.

Join us for Get Your Rear in Gear - Asheville, and help us raise colon cancer awareness in the Asheville-area. Funds raised at the event help support local awareness and screening efforts in our community. The day includes a timed 5K run, and a 5K walk.

Join us on March 25th, as the colorectal cancer community gathers at Carrier Park for the annual Get Your Rear in Gear - Asheville 5K run/walk!

Get Your Rear in Gear - Asheville is organized by and for survivors, patients, caregivers, and supporters right here in Asheville.
