This oil can withstand extreme operating temperatures, high RPM and heavy loads to deliver competition-level engine protection. Stay out of the mechanic's shop and on the water thanks to the superior quality of the XPS 2T Racing Synthetic Oil. Always refer to your owner's manual for indications on proper maintenance of your Sea-Doo vehicle.

Any help is appreciated. I found a seller with cases of Bombardier Rotax Formula XP-S Synthetic Two-Stroke Oil, and he is selling the oil cheap! My first ski-doo is a 2006 Renegade 600SDI, so I'm not that familiar with Bombardier products (I had been running Polaris religiously since birth...until I rode a REV!).
I am wondering how old this stuff is, does anyone have an idea? Is this the predecessor of the Bombardier XP-S Synthetic Blend required for SDI's?

The product comes in a 1 liter white bottle with a black sticker and black cap. This is what the label says:

"Bombardier Rotax Formula XP-S Synthetic Two-Stroke Oil" "High performance-Synthetic-High Fluidity-Biodegradable"
"A specially formulated, fully synthetic low ash two-stroke oil developed to combine the lubrication requirements of Bombardier-Rotax engines with the environmental advantage of rapid biodegradability. When tested according to CEC L-33-T-82, results..........."

I am wondering what its API or JASO rating is?

This used to be the oil dealers said to use in the SDI's. Now they say use the blend, some dealers say use the full synthetic if you have always used it. If the price is right, i don't think it will hurt anything.

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering about the oil and have been paying through the nose for XPS2. I have been running the blend in both 05 and 06 Renegade 600s. The seller is selling the oil for $4 a bottle and he has cases of the stuff. This is dirt cheap for rural Alaska.

The dealer may be unloading the current inventory. The new E-Tec syn blend oil will be replacing the current oil, now has a squarish looking bottle. Same price as the previous syn blend.

What kind of oil does a Seadoo Bombardier take?

XPS 4T 5W-40 Synthetic Blend Oil Change Kit.

What kind of oil does a 2

As long as your sled is a 2-stroke engine, you can use any type of 2-stroke oil, and it will operate properly. If you have a 4-stroke engine, you will want to use 4-stroke oil. I still recommend synthetic oil most of the time.

What kind of oil do you put in a snowmobile?

The majority of 4-stroke snowmobiles use 0W-40 oils, while others use other types of oil like 0W-30 or 5W-50. 2-stroke snowmobiles use sled-specific 2T engine oils, which vary from brand to brand. That's why you have to use the recommended brand-specific oil, which is clearly named in your sled's manual.
