5.0 out of 5 stars Good cai..! Not the best, but for the money it’s like a sore pecker, ya can’t beat it.

Overall for the money.. it’s a good product. I didn’t agree with how it was packed but it was only rubber. A little time by heat vent, and your all good. With a throttle body spacer you need to trim the shroud, it’s nothing. It’s plastic!!It’s pretty loud, not a whistling noise, but when you rev it, on the up-rev you can really hear it sucking. It didn’t improve gas mileage to my knowledge, maybe .02 of a gallon..However it does quicken throttle response. You do need to use one of your stock rubber connectors over by the map sensor. You’ll figure it out if you can put two and two together....

Easy to install I had to cut 4in. off so my maf sensor would fit in before the intake housing but wasn't a problem at all to cut.

2004 suburban, this is a knock off of the spectra, but i wasnt going to pay $250 after my $300 3in bully dog air intake broke at filter connection. If u have a gm MAF with notch youll need to buy the MAF spacer, spectre spe990003 , also youll need at least 3 inch long 4id coupler, the one they provide is too short. Also youll need gm MAF adapter 25171042, if yours is old. Also youll need #10 ×4in long bolt and hardware. I used wing nuts so can tighten with fingers . The support bracket is was welded on to far back. Probably why this so cheep. Factory reject. So after some adjustments i made it fit. . I have at least 2in of pipe in the 90degree rubber elbow, red sharpie mark Maf sitting center houseing, abiut 1inch clearance between filter end to fender

Not sure if it increased any horsepower but it takes various upgrades to actually see any gains. It does sound throatier when accelerating and I think the engine is getting more air. Dual exhaust and other mods will certainly help increase performance.

For the price, can’t beat it. But beware, it will not drop right in. Mine didn’t at least. Had to manipulate the tube and box a bit and the rubber ducting doesn’t fit the stock mass airflow sense worth a damn, so that was a chore to get it to seal right…ended up using the flew duct from the stock set up but then the air filter barely fit. The tight fit meant no moving of the filter tho so I guess that’s a plus? 🤷🏻♂️. Anyway, can’t beat the price but if you are a perfectionist, spend the money and get a proper kit.

I recieved the package in record time. Was packaged very nicely. Took a bit of time about an hour and a half...was a little stumped with the air mass flow sensor coupling but figured out that you have to slid it all the way to the notches and clamp the heck out of it. Only issue is the check engine light came on when I was driving on the freeway. I will check all the connections and clean the mass air flow sensor and hope it goes away. Other than that I can definitely hear alot better flow to the motor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good CAI for the price

So far so good. Easy installation. Took about 15 minutes to install. Noticed the flow gain over stock
air box. No modification needed on my 04 Silverado 1500 Z71 Extended Cab. Needed to reuse 1 clamp for MAF sensor (see 2nd picture).
Overall, good cold air intake for the price.
Cons: clamps that come with this kit are fairly cheap.

I combined this upgrade with a dual 3" exhaust setup, it made a nice improvement in power, very noticeable. I did not notice any fuel economy improvements.
Used for a 2004 6L 4x4

Don't waste your money. Sais it's ''silicone boots and not the cheap rubber one'' which is not the case at all. Contact seller a month ago and haven't heard back yet. Does not fit at all from MAF sensor to boot..... not even close to fitting.
