2014 ford fusion ACM issue
I have a 2014 ford fusion, it has the 4" regular sync, not the my touch or anything fancy. I haven't had the car very long, since march actually. It has worked flawlessly up until today. It seems that I got in the car this morning and I noticed that I didn't hear the door chimes like I normally do after I put the key in and then shut the door. I didn't pay that much attention to it really. But I had to drive to the neighboring town which is about a 15 minute drive and along my way I turn on the stereo. It was on the last FM station I was listening to just yesterday and there was no audio. I tried using the dial to turn to a different station, it wouldn't change stations. I couldn't change from FM to AM. I could change the input to Bluetooth audio and it would connect to my phone and start playing a song as I could see the time running and the name of the song. But still, no audio. Pressing the voice command button on the steering wheel. No audio. At that point I gave it up and conducted my business. When I got home, I did a master reset on the sync, then disconnected the battery for around 15 minutes. When I reconnected the battery, I still had no door chimes and no audio on the stereo. I had to set the time/date but it was stuck in AM mode this time and would not change. I got out my OBDLink MX and used forscan to run diagnostic test. Everything past except for the ACM (Audio Control Module) it gave a DTC of U3000:41 checksum error. To me this is some sort of software related issue. I did a reset of the ACM which it took and immediately the door chimes started working after cycling. But alas no audio still yet. Is anyone familiar with this issue that could give some insight?
