4.0 out of 5 starsFun, economical wagon with plenty of go!
Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2016
I was looking around for a used, economical, fun, wagon/hatch with a manual transmission. In today's age, that's a tall order to find, but I found it in my 2006 Mazda 3 hatch! I love this car and find that it is both sporty (with it's 17" tires and decent performing engine) and practical with good room for passengers and cargo. I picked up my used car with ~ 85k (original clutch) and was expecting to have to replace it but I haven't had any issues at all.
While the car isn't a track beast, it has enough power to make everyday driving fun and can still get decent gas mileage. Everything is pretty solid with great fit and finish. I've always been a Honda owner but can't complain about the egronomics of this car. The only complaint is the DIN size for the stereo...makes replacing it with an aftermarket one tricky, but this is only for those that want to replace it.
I'm very satisfied with this Mazda!
